COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --Â Rising sophomores Cameron Bock and Jacob Moore, as well as alums Sam Mikulak (2011-14) and Adrian de los Angeles (2012-15) of the University of Michigan men's gymnastics team took part in the 2018 USA Gymnastics Championship Qualifier, with all four advancing to the 2018 U.S. Gymnastics Championships on Aug. 15-19 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Bock (83) and Mikulak (91) placed second and third in the 20-point program results, while Moore and de los Angeles qualified with 36 points each.
Overall, Bock had the best performance of the group, marking an 82.250 in all-around competition, and won parallel bars with a 14.550 while also tying for fourth on still rings (13.700) and high bar (13.00), while Moore took seventh in the all-around with a 78.500. His top event score came on floor exercise, where he tied for third with a 14.00.
Mikulak, who did not participate on vault, won three events, scoring a 14.600 on floor exercise, a 14.800 on still rings, and a 14.700 on high bar to go along with a 14.500 on parallel bars. de los Angeles competed on three events, and tied for fourth on high bar with a 14.000.
