ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan wrestling program announced its 2017-18 schedule today (Tuesday, Aug. 15), featuring a challenging slate of 13 dual meets and a pair of regular-season tournaments. The Wolverines will wrestle eight teams that finished in the top 15 at the NCAA Championships a season ago, including three of the top four in Penn State, Ohio State and Iowa.
U-M will open its dual-meet schedule against Arizona State on Friday, Nov. 10, at Detroit Catholic Central High School in Novi, Michigan -- the alma mater of current Wolverines Malik Amine, Myles Amine and Kevin Beazley. Lehigh (Nov. 19), Oregon State (Dec. 10) and Central Michigan (Feb. 18) round out the Wolverines' non-conference schedule.
The Wolverines kick off their Big Ten Conference slate on the road, traveling to face Indiana and Purdue the weekend of Jan. 5-7 in their first action of the second semester. U-M will face Penn State either Jan. 12 or Jan. 14 -- to be determined by the Big Ten Network -- and also host conference duals against Wisconsin (Jan. 19), Nebraska (Feb. 2), Michigan State (Feb. 9) and Ohio State (Feb. 11). In all, Michigan will host seven home events at Cliff Keen Arena in addition to the Arizona State dual at DCC.
After regular-season tournament appearances at the MSU Open and Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, the Wolverines will not have to travel far for their postseason tournaments. Michigan State will host the 2018 Big Ten Championships, March 3-4, at the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Michigan, while the NCAA Championships are slated for March 15-17 at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

Season tickets are $35 per seat and include benefits like price discount, priority points, concession food voucher and priority access to purchase additional single-meet tickets.
