
Anderson, Canning, Herremans Represent U-M at USA Diving Nats

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Divers Steven Anderson, Chris Canning and Jake Herremans represented the University of Michigan men's swimming and diving team at the 2017 USA Diving National Championships, held from July 29 to Aug. 12 at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
National titles on one-meter, three-meter and platform, as well as spots on the U.S. Junior Pan American Games team, were up for grabs during the nearly two-week meet in Columbus.
Anderson and Herremans, both competing in the senior division, narrowly missed qualifying for spots in finals: Anderson on platform (13th, 254.35) and Herremans on three-meter (13th, 310.45). Incoming freshman Chris Canning finaled in the Men's 16-18 division on three-meter, taking 12th (506.70).
Also in Columbus were women's divers Nikki Canale, Christy Cutshaw and Margaret Rogers.
