
Michigan Earns Team and Individual Scholar All-America Honors

NORFOLK, Va. -- The University of Michigan men's swimming and diving team and 10 of its student-athletes earned Scholar All-America recognition from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on Wednesday (June 21).
PJ Ransford, Miles Smachlo and Evan White were Scholar All-Americans, while Jeremy Babinet, Jon Burkett, Tommy Cope, Colin Eaton, Blake Maczka, Alex Martin and Cameron Stitt were Scholar All-America honorable mentions.
Teams are awarded CSCAA Scholar All-America honors by virtue of posting GPAs of 3.0 or higher for the spring semester. The individual selections recognize students that have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and have participated in their respective NCAA Championships. Those receiving honorable mention have a GPA of 3.50 and have achieved a "B" time standard or competed at a regional or zone qualifying meet.
The women's swimming and diving team and 13 student-athletes also received CSCAA Scholar All-America recognition.
