ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Tickets for the 2018Â Big Ten Men's Gymnastics Championships, to be hosted by the University of Michigan, went on sale to the general public today (Wed., Oct. 11). The Big Ten's top gymnasts will travel to Ann Arbor to compete for individual and team glory on Friday and Saturday, April 6-7, inside Crisler Center.
All-session passes are $10, while individual-session passes are $7 for the general public and $4 for student individual-session passes.
Groups of 10 or more of any are eligible for a discounted single-session rate of $4 per ticket.
Tickets may be purchased online at MGoBlue.com/tickets, over the phone -- (734) 764-0247 or toll-free (866)296-MTIX -- or in person at the Michigan Athletics Ticket Office.
The championships will begin on Friday (April 6) with team championship competition, while individual titles will be up for grabs on Saturday (April 7). Both sessions are slated to commence at 7 p.m.
The last time U-M competed in Crisler Center was during the 2014 season when the Wolverines took home the NCAA Championship. U-M last hosted the Big Ten Championship in 2009, an event that was also held at Crisler Center.
U-M figures to be a factor in the team title race, as the squad returns two-time defending NCAA and 2016 Big Ten vault champion, junior Anthony McCallum, as well as an experienced senior class that features former NCAA All-Americans Dmitri Belanovski and Tristian Perez-Rivera.
Under the guidance of 22nd-year head coach Kurt Golder, U-M opens up the season with its annual Maize & Blue Intrasquad meet on Sat., Dec. 9, at 1 p.m. inside Cliff Keen Arena. Regular-season home action features the defending NCAA Champion Oklahoma Sooners (Jan. 23) and the defending Big Ten Champion Ohio State Buckeyes (Feb. 3). The regular season closes out on March 31, as the UIC Flames come to town for Senior Day. The meet, currently slated for 2 p.m., will be held at Crisler Center.
Admission for all regular-season home meets are free of charge.
