Postgame Notes: #4 Michigan 45, Colorado 28

• Michigan improved to 4-1 in the all-time series against Colorado and is now 3-1 in meetings at Michigan Stadium. The Wolverines also improved to 50-26-1 against teams currently in the Pac-12 Conference. Today is the first meeting between U-M and Colorado since the Buffaloes joined the Pac-12 in 2011.
• Four-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady and Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick -- both Michigan graduates -- served as the Wolverines' honorary captains. Former Michigan assistant and Colorado head coach Bill McCartney served as the Buffaloes' honorary captain.
• Michigan also honored its 2016 Olympians and Paralympians, including silver medalists Connor Jaeger (swimming, 1,500m freestyle) and Zach Burns (paralympic rowing, legs, trunks and arms mixed coxed four) and bronze medalist Nick Willis (track and field, 1,500m run), during halftime.
• Freshman defensive end Carlo Kemp made his collegiate debut today against Colorado. He is a Boulder, Colorado, native.
• Michigan has combined for 159 total points over its first three games of the 2016 season -- the most over that stretch in program history. The Wolverines have surpassed 100 o more points in the first three games of the season on 12 occasions since 1892.

• Michigan's two-touchdown comeback against Colorado represents the 14th time that U-M has overcome a deficit of 14 points or more -- and the first since rallying from a similar 21-7 deficit at Connecticut in 2013. Michigan's largest comeback victory followed a 21-point hole at Minnesota in 2003.
• Michigan scored two touchdowns off punts returns in a single game for just the second time in program history. Tom Hendricks and Ron Kramer previously achieved the feat against Michigan State on Nov. 13, 1954.
• Sophomore wide receiver Grant Perry posted his second career touchdown on blocked-punt recovery for six yards in the first quarter. Perry also posted a career-long 54-yard reception in the third quarter. His previous long was 25 yards at Utah (Sept. 3, 2015).
• Junior linebacker Jabrill Peppers returned a punt a career-long 54 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. It marks his third career touchdown and first off a return. Peppers also posted a career-high 24 rushing yards on two carries and a career-high nine tackles, including 3.5 tackles-for-loss and a sack -- the second of his career and for a loss of 11 yards -- in the third quarter.
• Fifth-year senior wide receiver Amara Darboh tied his career long with a 45-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. He boasts four touchdowns on nine receptions this season. Darboh has made at least one catch in 26 of his last 28 contests. He currently ranks 11th on Michigan's list of consecutive games with a reception with 22 straight receptions since 2013.
• Fifth-year senior wide receiver Jehu Chesson posted his first touchdown of the season -- and third rushing touchdown of his career -- on a 17-yard run in the second quarter. Chesson has tallied at least one reception in 23 of his last 27 contests dating back to 2013. He caught three passes for 25 yards against Colorado.
• Senior running back De'Veon Smith also posted his first touchdown of the season -- and 13th rushing touchdown of his career -- on 42-yard run in the third quarter. It is the third-longest run of his career.
• Senior running back Ty Isaac used a one-yard run to score his first touchdown of the season in the third quarter. It marks his second as a Wolverine and the fourth of his collegiate career. Isaac also recorded a career long 21-yard reception on the same drive. His previous long was nine yards vs. Oregon State (Sept. 12, 2015).
• Senior tight end Jake Butt posted seven receptions for 87 yards and moved to third among Michigan's all-time leaders in receiving yards by a tight end with 1,292. He also ranks third among U-M tight end leaders with 107 career receptions.
• Michigan has averaged 3.67 sacks per game this season. The Wolverines matched their season best with four sacks against Colorado for a combined loss of 28 yards. Peppers recorded the second solo sack of his career, and senior defensive tackle Maurice Hurst posted his fourth.
• Senior linebacker Ben Gedeon led the Wolverines with a career-high 12 tackles, including a half sack in the second quarter. His previous best was seven. Peppers and senior safety Dymonte Thomas also established career highs in tackles with nine and six, respectively.
• Michigan has deflected three punts over its last two games, while another today went off a Colorado player. Fifth-year senior tight end Michael Jocz registered the first-quarter punt block; it was the first time a punt block was credited to a single player since Mike McCray vs. Appalachian State on Aug. 30, 2014.
• With his 39-yard field goal in the second quarter, fifth-year senior kicker Kenny Allen claimed sole possession of the ninth spot among Michigan's all-time field goal leaders with 22 in his career.
• Today's announced attendance of 110,042 marks the 268th consecutive game of more than 100,000 fans at Michigan Stadium.
