• Michigan improved to 6-0 (3-0, Big Ten) for the first time since the 2011 season.
• This marks Michigan's first shutout since a three-game streak last fall that ended with a 38-0 win against Northwestern (Oct. 10).
• Michigan's nine rushing touchdowns are tied for the most in program history (1939 vs. Chicago).
• U-M recorded its second-largest margin of victory since 1920 (78 points). It is the largest margin of victory in a conference game since 1939, replacing a 69-point win against Northwestern in 1975.
• Michigan's 78-point margin of victory is the largest in Big Ten history, for any conference game since 1940, topping Wisconsin's 83-20 victory over Indiana in 2010 and Ohio State's 59-0 victory over Wisconsin in the conference title game in 2014.
• Today's matchup marked the third all-time meeting between Michigan and Rutgers, and U-M now owns a 2-1 record in the series, having outscored the Scarlet Knights 151-42 in three meetings.
• Three of the nine New Jersey natives on Michigan's roster appeared in tonight's game: offensive lineman Juwann Bushell-Beatty, defensive end Rashan Gary and linebacker/offensive weapon Jabrill Peppers.
• Michigan surpassed its per-game average of 444 yards of offense by finishing with 600. It is the third time in six games the team has surpassed 500 yards of total offense.
• U-M has converted on 31-of-35 red-zone chances this season (8-of-8 tonight) with 27 touchdowns and four field goals.
• U-M has converted on 40-of-83 third-down opportunities, good for 48.2 percent, while holding opponents to 10-of-82 (12.2 percent). Michigan was 6-of-11 tonight and held Rutgers to 0-of-17.
• U-M totaled 481 yards on the ground, including nine touchdowns. U-M has had at least one rushing touchdown in each game this season.
• Six different players scored touchdowns for U-M during tonight's game: Khalid Hill (3), Jehu Chesson, Karan Higdon (2), Jabrill Peppers (2), Ty Isaac (2) and Bobby Henderson.
• Three quarterbacks saw game action for U-M tonight: Wilton Speight, John O'Korn and Shane Morris. O'Korn's third-quarter touchdown pass is his first as a Wolverine.
• Nose tackle Bryan Mone's first-quarter fumble recovery is his second career recovery and is the first career fumble forced by safety Delano Hill. It marks the third fumble recovery by the U-M defense so far this year.
• Running back Chris Evans finished the day with 153 yards on the ground, a career high. Evans also recorded his first career punt return attempt.
• Wide receiver Amara Darboh has at least one catch in 26 straight games, including 29 of his last 31 dating to 2014.
• Wide receiver Jehu Chesson scored his first touchdown of the 2016 season tonight and the 15th of his career (11th receiving).
• Fullback Khalid Hill scored his sixth, seventh and eighth touchdowns of the season and of his career. He is the first U-M player with three or more scores since Jehu Chesson had four in 2015 against Indiana.
• Jabrill Peppers saw offensive snaps at quarterback and running back today, and his two rushing touchdowns are the fourth and fifth TDs of his career and his third and fourth on the ground.
• Tight end Jake Butt has caught at least one pass in 22 straight contests and 30 of his last 33 games played.
• Running back Ty Isaac scored his third and fourth touchdowns in the last four weeks.
• Freshman offensive lineman Ben Bredeson made his first career start today at left guard.
• Holder Garrett Moores, who was placed on scholarship at the beginning of the season, scored his first career points when he ran the PAT snap into the end zone after Michigan's fourth touchdown of the day.
