Postgame Notes: Michigan 35, Oregon State 7

• Today's announced attendance of 109,651 marks the 259th consecutive game of more than 100,000 fans at Michigan Stadium.
• The Wolverines improved to 5-0 in the all-time series against Oregon State. It was the first meeting between the programs in 29 years. Head coach Jim Harbaugh is 3-2 all-time against Oregon State.
• The Wolverines also improved to 113-18-2 all-time in home openers.
• After allowing 136 yards of total offense in the first quarter, Michigan's defense held Oregon State to two total yards in the final three quarters. U-M outgained Oregon State in total offense 357-2 in the final three quarters.
• Junior running back De'Veon Smith posted a career-best 126 rushing yards on 23 carries. It marks the third 100-yard rushing game of his career. Smith also recorded a career-best three touchdowns, earning his second career multi-touchdown effort with two one-yard rushes in the second quarter and an eight-yard run in the fourth -- his first touchdowns of the season. He owns nine career touchdowns.
• Smith also posted a career-high 24 receiving yards, including a career-long 20-yard reception in the second quarter. His previous high for receiving yards was 21, which he recorded last season against Penn State.
• Senior linebacker Joe Bolden earned his second career fumble recovery in the first quarter, returning it 18 yards and leading to a Michigan field goal. Junior defensive end Taco Charlton forced the fumble -- the first forced fumble of his career.
• Senior kicker Kenny Allen posted a career-best nine points on two field goals and three point-after attempts. He registered a career-long 40-yard field goal for the Wolverines' first points in the first quarter. It is his second career field goal, adding to last week's 29-yard make at Utah (Sept. 3). He added a 29-yard field goal in the third quarter.
• Senior tight end A.J. Williams recorded a career-best 22 receiving yards -- all on a 22-yard catch in the third quarter. His previous high was 12, which he registered last season against Utah, while his previous career long was nine, which he posted last year against Indiana.
• Sophomore tight end Ian Bunting posted a career-best 33 receiving yards, including a career-long 21-yard reception in the third quarter. Bunting's first career catch was a 12-yard grab last week against Utah (Sept. 3).
• Michigan's tight ends -- junior Jake Butt, Williams and Bunting -- combined for 80 receiving yards on seven catches.
• Sophomore wide receiver Drake Harris earned his first career reception on a three-yard catch in the first quarter.
• Junior running back Derrick Green scored his first rushing touchdown of the season and sixth of his career in the fourth quarter. He finished the game with 35 rushing yards on eight attempts.
• Senior fullback Sione Houma recorded his first career rush in the fourth quarter, gaining 13 yards.
• Senior defensive end Chris Wormley had a career-high six tackles, matching a career high with three tackles-for-loss. Senior linebacker Royce Jenkins-Stone also posted a career-high four tackles.
