Michigan used the starting lineup of Danielle Williams, Cyseha Goree, Nicole Elmblad, Siera Thompson and Shannon Smith for the first time since Feb. 22 at Minnesota.
Nicole Elmblad made her 131st career appearance, moving into first place alone on the games played list at U-M.
Madison Ristovski made her 100th career appearance in tonight's game to become the 33rd Wolverine in school history with at least 100 games played.
Cyesha Goree recorded her 16th double-double of the season, finishing with 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Michigan had five players in double figures for the second time this season. U-M had six score at least 10 points against Detroit in the season opener (Nov. 14).
With the win, Cyesha Goree and Nicole Elmblad are now the winningest class in program history with 81 wins. The pair passed the class of 2013, which finished with 80 wins.
Michigan has set a new program record with 14 home wins this season. U-M won 13 during the 2012-13 season as its previous high.
U-M has attempted at least 15 free throws in all three of its WNIT wins.
Cyesha Goree tied a career high with three blocks.
