CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The University of Michigan women's tennis team completed action at the Kitty Harrison Invitational on Sunday (Nov. 8), going 2-2 on the final day of singles competition.
On the weekend, Michigan picked up four singles wins and went 5-1 on the doubles court. Sophomore Mira Ruder-Hook and freshman Brienne Minor each were 3-0 in doubles competition.
Minor highlighted Michigan's singles play, winning her final two matches after dropping her first. Fellow freshman Kate Fahey and Ruder-Hook also won a singles match on the weekend.
U-M concludes fall tennis action next weekend at two events. Minor and senior Ronit Yurovsky will be competing at the ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships in Flushing, N.Y. (Nov. 12-15), while the remainder of the team will compete at the ASU Thunderbird in Tempe, Arizona, (Nov. 13-15).
