Michigan won the doubles point for the fourth time this year, moving to 4-0 when securing the match's first point.
Emina Betkas has won all six matches at No. 1 this season in dual-match play. She is riding an eight-match winning streak.
Ronit Yurovsky, who had missed the first four matches with an injury, picked up her second dual-match win of the season in today's contest.
Senior Brooke Bolender did not finish a singles match this weekend. She is three wins away from 100 career singles victories.
Michigan is 6-8 all-time against Miami.
U-M has participated in the ITA National Indoor Championship five times, winning at least one match in all five appearances. Michigan is now 8-7 all-time at the event.
This weekend marked the end of the experimental scoring by the ITA. Tennis will now go back to eight-game pro sets for doubles and a full third set if the dual has not been clinched.
Miami is the highest-ranked opponent Michigan has beaten this year and the highest since knocking off No. 2 Duke on March 1, 2013.
