LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Juniors Adrian de los Angeles (Long Beach, Calif./Millikan) and Stacey Ervin (Taylor, Mich./Truman) of the No. 2-ranked University of Michigan men's gymnastics team took part in the 2014 Winter Cup finals Saturday (Feb. 23) at the Riviera Hotel. Both Wolverines excelled on vault in the two-day competition, with Ervin finishing seventh (29.85) and de los Angeles 11th (29.70).

Overall, de los Angeles took the top event performance for U-M, as he scored a 30.25 on parallel bars for third place overall. Ervin took 10th on the apparatus, with a two-day event score of 28.55.

2015 signee Marvin Kimble was named to the Senior National Team after placing seventh in the national team selection points program. His best performance came on parallel bars where he took fourth (30.050).

The Wolverines will return to full team competition Saturday (March 1) at the OSU Invite in Columbus, Ohio. The event is slated for a 1 p.m. start from St. John Arena.
