For the second straight game, U-M used the starting lineup of Cyesha Goree, Nicole Elmblad, Danielle Williams, Shannon Smith and Siera Thompson. The group is 2-0.
Danielle Williams recorded a career-best six steals in the contest. She is the first player to record at least five steals in a game since Jenny Ryan on March 2, 2012, against Ohio State.
Head coach Kim Barnes Arico picked up her 50th win as Michigan head coach, becoming the fifth coach in school history to reach that mark. She is the fastest coach (78 games) to get there.
Cyesha Goree recorded her third straight double-double to push her season total to seven. She now has 20 for her career and is the eighth player to go for at least 20 in a career.
