Postgame Notes: #14 Wisconsin 3, #9 Michigan 1

• Michigan fell to 63-54-7 in the all-time series against the Badgers. The Wolverines are winless in their last four games (0-3-1) against Wisconsin and are winless in the last five games (0-4-1) overall.
• Michigan was swept by Wisconsin in a weekend series for the first time since the final WCHA series between the two programs on Jan. 9-10, 1981.
• Michigan finished the night 1-for-3 on the man-advantage and fell to 8-3-1 on the season when scoring on the power play.
• U-M held Wisconsin scoreless in three chances on the power play and went a perfect 5-for-5 on the weekend on the penalty kill. This weekend marked the first time this season that Michigan has held opponents scoreless on the power play in consecutive games.
• Senior forward Luke Moffatt scored two power-play goals this past weekend at Wisconsin and now leads the Big Ten with six power-play goals on the season. Moffatt's goal on Friday night helped Michigan snap an 0-for-22 skid on the man-advantage dating back to Nov. 29. Moffatt entered the season with four career power-play goals.
• Michigan allowed three or more goals for the fourth straight game and sixth time in the last seven contests. Michigan is 4-5 this season when allowing three or more goals.
• Tonight marked the first time this season that a Michigan freshman did not record a point in a game when U-M has recorded at least one goal.
• Michigan was outshot for the third straight game and the fifth time in the last six games. The Wolverines are 3-4-2 this season when outshot by their opponent.
