Michigan was without its leading scorer, Shannon Smith, for the second straight game. Smith was injured in the contest against Texas Tech (Nov. 29).
For the second straight game, Michigan used the starting lineup of Madison Ristovski, Nicole Elmblad, Cyesha Goree, Val Driscoll and Siera Thompson.
Cyesha Goree scored a career-best 20 points, the first 20-point game of her career.
Danielle Williams scored the first points of her career on a three-pointer with 1:34 left in the first half.
Val Driscoll scored a career-high 12 points, the first double-digit scoring game of her career.
