U-M began day two out west with 10 a.m. meetings on Tuesday (Dec. 24) before departing for Chaparral High School for a 12:15 p.m. practice. The Wolverines wore shoulder pads with shorts and worked out for nearly 90 minutes on a sunny, 66-degree afternoon in the desert.
A host of former Wolverines took in the spirited practice in Scottsdale, including kicker Jay Feeley -- now a member of the Arizona Cardinals -- running back Jerome Jackson, defensive tackle Norman Heuer and linebacker Brandon Herron.
Following practice, offensive coordinator Al Borges and defensive coordinator Greg Mattison met with the media and players got in a quick lift before the team boarded buses back to the hotel for position meetings.
The evening consisted of two events for Team 134. First, the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl hosted the Wolverines with an all-you-can-eat dinner at the Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chao. No player left with an empty stomach as the Wolverines were treated to continuous tableside service of 16 cuts of meat. During the team dinner, senior wide receiver Joe Reynolds, redshirt freshmen defensive linemen Willie Henry and Chris Wormley and true freshman linebacker Ben Gedeon and running back Derrick Green spoke to the media about their bowl experience thus far and the task at hand against Bill Snyder's Kansas State Wildcats.

Following the event, head coach Brady Hoke surprised the team by taking the Wolverines to an advanced screening of Lone Survivor, a film which documents the true story about four Navy SEALs who were ambushed on a mission in the mountains of Afghanistan.
The team will practice at 11:20 a.m. on Christmas Day before holding an evening Christmas event for the travel party.
