• Michigan lost for the first time this season and falls to 2-1-0 in the all-time series against UMass-Lowell. The last time these two sides met, U-M emerged with a 5-1 win on Oct. 15, 1999.
• Freshman goalie Zach Nagelvoort faced a career-high 36 shots and stopped 34 of them, marking a new career high.
• Michigan finished the night 0-for-2 on the power play, marking the first game all season the Wolverines did not convert at least one power-play opportunity. U-M is now 7-for-23 (30.4%) with a man-advantage through six games this season.
