On today's road win ... "Overall, it was a pretty good effort. Penn State is a pretty good team and has improved quite a bit. Our focus has been on trying to compete in every match, and for the most part, I felt like we did that pretty well today. We swept the doubles, which was a great start, and I feel like we're really starting to put it all together."
On sweeping doubles in three straight duals ... "I think we're definitely getting closer to where we'd like doubles to be. Brooke (Bolender) and Emina (Bektas) played pretty well today. They're playing smarter and not just relying on a first serve and volley; they're starting to think a little more out there, which is exciting to see. Mimi (Nguyen) and Michelle (Sulahian) played very well, and Sarah (Lee) and Sam (Critser) have a ton a potential and are moving in a good direction. They finished well today."
On freshman Kristen Dodge ... "Kristy is doing great. She is so mentally tough, so you know that, regardless of what's happening, she is out there battling. She's one of those players that you can't ever tell if she's winning or losing. It's also good for the girls to see that kind of effort out there and to know that she's battling through no matter what. She had a great win today, and she's been playing very well."
