Michigan Head Coach Red Berenson
On tonight's game ... "You could see that game could have gone either way. I thought we got the jump in the first period. Boston College came back with a great second period. We were fortunate, I thought, to get the goal we got (A.J. Treais' goal), and it holds up to be the winning goal, so you never know. It was a hard-fought game. It's a testament to the players and their conditioning and their work ethic because we've all been off the ice for the better part of two and a half weeks."
On the importance of the first goal ... "You hate to get down to a team like that. They can really take you out of a game quick. You saw that in the second period. Part of that was that they had three power plays and put us on our heels. And they scored on two of them. Had they gotten a 2-0 lead, whether or not we could have come back it's hard to tell. They're a great team and this was a challenge for our team, and we found a way."
U-M Senior Forward David Wohlberg
On the key to high number of odd-man rushes tonight ... "I would say that was definitely just being quick on the puck. We've been working on that in practice -- pushing the pace, having guys cross the ice -- and it just makes for easier passes. I think we did a good job of that tonight."
U-M Senior Forward Luke Glendening
On his personal success at the GLI ... "I think it's coming back in shape. It's important to stay in shape over the break, and that's a key part of my game -- being well conditioned."
On if he said anything to the team on the bench during the second period ... "It was obviously frustrating. We came out with a good first period and started to struggle a bit in the second. Just stick to the game plan. We got away from our normal system when things stopped going our way. Once we got back to that we were fine."
