CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- The University of Michigan women's tennis team was unable to compete on the first day of the Miami Fall Tournament on Friday (Sept. 24) as intermittent rain stopped play at noon. On-and-off rain throughout the rest of the afternoon kept play from resuming for about five hours before the decision was made to postpone Friday's matches.

The Wolverines were originally scheduled to take on UCF in singles and South Florida in doubles on Friday. Play will resume on Saturday morning (Sept. 25) at 8 a.m. with doubles action with singles to follow.
