• Today's announced crowd of 110,922 is the 223rd consecutive game of more than 100,000 fans at Michigan Stadium. U-M boasted a 108,933 average attendance over its eight home games in 2009.
• Today's game was the 106th meeting between Michigan and Ohio State. The Wolverines hold a 57-43-6 advantage all-time in the series, but the Buckeyes have won the last six games.
• Michigan has compiled a 22-18-3 record against Ohio State in Michigan Stadium. U-M has claimed victories in six of the past 10 contests at the Big House dating back to 1991.
• Michigan's game captains were senior linebacker Stevie Brown, senior defensive end Brandon Graham, fifth-year senior punter Zoltan Mesko and fifth-year senior left tackle Mark Ortmann. The foursome was also named U-M's permanent captains for the 2009 season.
• Today's alumni captains were Dan Dierdorf (1968-70), Jim Mandich (1967-69) and Barry Pierson (1967-69). In recognition of its 40th anniversary, U-M honored the entire 1969 squad, which upset top-ranked and undefeated Ohio State, 24-12, in Bo Schembechler's first season.
• Mandich and Cathy Schembechler, widow of former U-M coach Bo Schembechler, participated in today's coin toss.
• Eighteen senior players -- Zac Baker, Carlos Brown, Stevie Brown, David Cone, Jon Conover, Kevin Grady, Brandon Graham, Greg Mathews, Tim McAvoy, Zoltan Mesko, Brandon Minor, David Moosman, Tim North, Jason Olesnavage, Ohene Opong-Owusu, Mark Ortmann, Ricky Reyes, LaTerryal Savoy -- appeared in their last game at Michigan Stadium today.
• Today's game marked the last for the Michigan Stadium press box. Built prior to the 1956 season, the press box saw 347 Michigan home games in its 54-year tenure. It will be removed on Monday (Nov. 23) to allow the completion of the stadium renovation.
• Freshman quarterback Tate Forcier completed 23-of-38 passes for 226 yards to surpass 2,000 passing yards on the season. He ended the year with 2,050 passing yards.
• Sophomore receiver Daryl Stonum recorded 63 yards on three kick returns to surpass 1,000 on the season. Stonum owns the Michigan single-season records for kick returns (39) and kick-return yardage (1,001). He is the only player in U-M program history to surpass 1,000 in one year.
• Senior/junior linebacker Jonas Mouton secured his second career interception on OSU's first possession of the third quarter. His previous pick came in the season opener against WMU on Sept. 5.
• Mouton also matched a career-high 11 tackles against Ohio State. He owns four double-digit tackle efforts in his career, including two this season. He recorded 11 tackles vs. Indiana on Sept. 26.
• Sophomore/freshman wide receiver Roy Roundtree posted his second career 100-yard receiving game, tallying 116 yards on nine receptions. The numbers fell just shy of his career bests; he tallied 10 catches and 126 receiving vs. Purdue on Nov. 7.

• Senior defensive end Brandon Graham secured a sack in the third quarter to up his season total to 9.5. With the sack, he moved to second on Michigan's list of career tackles for loss with 53. Mark Messner (1985-88) owns the U-M school record with 70.
