Assistant coach Teryn Ashley-Fitch
On Taylor Fournier ... "Taylor's results are great, for her to come in and win is awesome. I told her that she could win but she just laughed. She competed really well. We have been working on a lot of different stuff with her in practice, and she had a great attitude with it. It was great to watch her play and then for her to win her flight."
On what to take away from the weekend ... "We won a lot of matches and really played well this weekend. We closed out the tournament really well. That has been a goal of the fall to win a lot of matches and try some new things while we are doing it. The doubles were really good for us. Playing with the lead allowed us an opportunity to work those new plays in that we have been practicing with, but in a match situation. It was nice to be able to step out of the comfort zone with the doubles and have it pay off in the end."

On her performance this weekend ... "This weekend was a lot of fun for me. It was good because I changed my forehand and a few other things in my game the past few weeks. It was a good time to practice all my stuff and to get better in a match instead of just in practice."
