PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Senior co-captain Nicole Edwards (Winnipeg , Manitoba /Vincent Massey), junior Geena Gall (Grand Blanc, Mich./Grand Blanc), graduate/senior Toni Salucci (Wading River, N.Y./ Shoreham-Wading River) and freshman Kaitlyn Peale (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) of the University of Michigan women's track and field team each earned NCAA regional qualifying times the 1,500-meter, 800-meter and 5,000-meter runs, respectively.

Edwards came in eighth in section one of the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:17.06. Gall, running in section one of the 800-meter run, placed fourth with a time of 2:05.74. Salucci finished in 11th place in the 5,000-meter run section one at 16:11.78, while Peale finished 14th in section two with a 16:45.90.

The Wolverines will host their lone outdoor meet of the 2008 season, the annual Len Paddock Invitational, Friday and Saturday (May 9-10) at Ferry Field. Competition is slated to begin Friday morning with the hammer throw at 11 a.m. while the running events kick off at 6:30 p.m. Saturday's action starts at 10 a.m.with running events at 12:30 p.m.
