Q U O T E S
Michigan Head Coach James Henry
On the second day of the FSU Relays... "Amber Hay and Katie LaValley did a great job today. Hay had a personal best and they both qualified for regionals in their first time out this year, which is a wonderful accomplishment for them. The shuttle hurdle relay did a great job working together. All of the athletes ran well, and it was a great start for them running the hurdles."
U-M Assistant Coach Anne Takacs
On the shot put... "Allison Liske did a nice job coming in second place. Bridgette Maynard had an outstanding performance. She had a really good series in shot put. She had an outdoor personal record."
U-M Associate Head Coach Mike McGuire
On Michigan's distance runners... "The 4x800 relay did an outstanding job because they were basically racing themselves. I was really happy with them. I was also pleased with Kaitlyn Peale's race (in the 5,000-meter run). It was her first collegiate race win. The last 600 meters of the race were her strongest. She really did well in the finish."
