
Holody Named NSCAA All-American, Three Others All-Region

Holody is just the second Wolverine in the program's nine-year existence to earn the All-America distinction. During his senior campaign, he started all 22 games for the Maize and Blue, racking up five points on two goals and an assist. His shutdown defense garnered him spots on the All-Big Ten first team and the Big Ten All-Championship squad, while his strong work in the classroom earned him Academic All-Big Ten. He also scored a weekly laurel from the conference and was tabbed NSCAA National Player of the Week on Oct. 29 following an upset victory over then-No. 2 Northwestern. The all-region honor was his second in as many seasons, joining a third-team nomination for the 2007 campaign.
A two-time captain, Holody wrapped up his exceptional four-year career as the Michigan all-time leader in minutes played (6,498) and his 73 starts rank third on the career list. His nine career markers slot him in a tie for ninth on the all-time goals list. He has also collected a trio of all-conference honors and has been named to the postseason all-tournament list on three occasions.
Marosevic led the Wolverines in scoring, netting 13 goals and 29 points. His dozen goalsgave him the second-highest single-season total for a Michigan player, while his point total was the third-best in program history. A three-time all-conference player, Marosevic picked up his first All-Big Ten first team award on the strength of two conference player of the week accolades.
Fuzetti earned his place into the record books in 2008, becoming the fourth player in program history to record a hat trick when he tallied threegoals against Detroit on Sept. 19. He finished second amongst the Wolverines in scoring, amassing 24 points on nine goals and four assists. Fuzetti was named to the All-Big Ten first team and was selected to three national publication's teams of the week during the season.
Stacy tallied 21 points during his final campaign, denting the twine on eight occasions and dishing out five assists. He earned his second All-Big Ten first team accolade in as many years this season and was selected NSCAA Player of the Week after scoring game-winning goals in upset victories over then-No. 20 Indiana and then-No. 8 Notre Dame. He concludes his career in second on the U-M all-time assists list (21) and fifth in both goals (15) and points (51).
Holody joins Knox Cameron (2001-03) as the only U-M NSCAA All-Americans. Cameron earned a third-team laurel during the 2003 campaign. The two all-region first team honors mark a first for the program and the four overall selections matches the total of the 2002 team that had a first, a second and two third team honorees.
