Erdman was named to the Academic All-District IV first team to advance to the Academic All-America ballot, while Webster made the Academic All-District second team.
To be nominated, student-athletes must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a scale of 4.00 and hold at least sophomore athletic and academic standing at their current institution.
Majoring in English and Spanish, Erdman earned NCAA outdoor All-America citations in the 800-meter run along with two NCAA indoor All-America honors in the 800-meter run and distance medley relay at the 2007 championships. With three All-American performances, Erdman will finish her Wolverine track career as an eight-time All-American -- the most in U-M program history. Erdman took first place at the 2007 Big Ten Indoor Championships in the 600m, making her the first runner to be a four-time 600m Big Ten champion (2003, '04, '06 and 07).
In 2007, Webster earned indoor and outdoor All-America honors in the 5,000m run and became the second Wolverine in program-history to capture both the 3,000m & 5,000m Big Ten Indoor Championship titles. Webster -- a communications major -- has also concluded her track career as a Wolverine, earning a total of five All-America citations and three Big Ten titles.
The Wolverines closed the 2007 season with a third-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships this past weekend (June 6-9). U-M participants garnered seven All-America crowns and two national titles.
