On the teams performance I feel pretty good with our performance, mostly with pommel horse. Weve been having trouble with it; we implemented a new pommel horse training program and adjusted some of the routines. We had six guys, with six hit routines. Thats the hardest event to hit routines on, thats what Im most pleased about.
On needed improvements before facing Ohio State Mainly we have to get back and practice vaulting. The problem I think we have with vault is that almost all the guys in the line up are doing a new vault routine. Sometimes in a first year of competing a new vault, it can hurt your team score. On the rings we just have to talk about new ways of getting the counting under control, so they can keep their holds a little longer.
On the seniors performances They went out with a bang. Everybody hit their routines and thats what I expected from them tonight. Im just very proud of them and Im theyre going to carry that through the championship portion of the season. Its been great having them, theyre all going to be very successful in life.
