Q U O T E S
Michigan Head Coach Mike McGuire
On finishing third ... "It definitely makes you appreciate the five (championships) thatwe got. Minnesota won and they are the deserving champion, and I thought Michigan State had a tremendous meet. I would say we were solid, but not spectacular. I thought Geena Gall and Lisa Uible both did a great job to finish where they did -- beyond that we had some kids in there for the first time who competed hard but just didn't get it done today."
On whats next ... "It's disappointing heading into Regional and Nationals this way but we will compete the best that we can. We're still in the upper tier ofone the better conferences in the nation so there is a little something to be taken from this."
