Q U O T E S
Michigan Head Coach Kathy Teichert
On the tournament ... "I thought we prepared very well leading up to the tournament. In addition to practicing for a couple of hours on Sunday, we had two practice rounds -- one more than we normally have -- and that gave us enough knowledge about the golf course to be successful. But there were a lot of mental mistakes, which led to big scoring holes. We couldn't get enough birdies to offset the doubles and triples, and then confidence dropped significantly."
On preparing for the spring season ... "We have a good team and talented players. This tournament will drop our ranking but we will do everything we can to come back positively and confident in the spring. We are going to go into our offseason workout program, regroup and make some changes before our spring season begins in February."
