Ketcheson, Sickler Collect CRCA All-America Honors

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Seniors Leah Ketcheson (Belleville, Ontario/Bayside SS) and Brett Sickler (Los Gatos, Calif./Los Gatos HS) of the University of Michigan women's rowing team have been named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association's All-America teams for 2005. Ketcheson earned first-team honors while Sickler was named to the second team.

Sickler, who stroked the first varsity eight at the 2005 NCAA Championships, was an All-Big Ten second team selection and a CRCA All-Central Region first team member earlier this season. She has been in Michigan's top boat in each of the last three seasons.
Michigan reached the NCAA Championships for the eighth consecutive season in 2005. The Wolverines placed eighth among the 12 competing teams, and U-M's first varsity eight finished ninth overall.
