Q U O T E S
U-M Head Coach Mike McGuire
On the EMU Classic ... "This race was a benchmark for many of our middle distance runners that will be competing in track this year. We competed very well and it was a nice day to run. We were quite a bit faster than we were on this course earlier in the season and that shows that all of our hard work is paying off."
On the upcoming Big Ten Championships ... "We had a good week of practice and everybody had a lot of energy. We're well prepared and looking forward to competing. Fall break came at a perfect time, giving our team a chance to recharge its batteries, get a lot of schoolwork done and then focus on running."
