Wolverines Set for NCAA Championships in Philadelphia

Invitations to the national qualifier are presented to the nation's top 12 teams, the 12 best all-around competitors not on those 12 teams, and the top 12 on each event not already qualified on a team or as an all-around competitor. The 12 teams were split into two separate qualifying sessions with six teams in each session. Michigan will be competing in the second qualifier at 7 p.m.; the first group of qualifiers will be competing at 1 p.m.
Listed below is the qualifying competition, with qualifying scores and the events on which they will begin the competition:

Three teams and the top three all-around competitors not on one of the qualifying teams, plus the top three individuals on each event not already qualified on a team or as an all-around competitor will advance from each qualifying session to the team and all-around finals and individual event preliminaries on Saturday (April 12) at 4 p.m. The individual event finals will be held Sunday (April 13) at 2 p.m.
The Wolverines will be trying to capture their first national championship since 1999 and fourth overall. Michigan finished in fourth place at the 2002 NCAA Championships in Norman, Okla.
