U-M Among 12 Teams Invited to NCAA Championships

Invited to the national qualifier are the nation's top 12 teams, the 12 best all-around competitors not on those teams, and the top 12 on each event not already qualified on a team or as an all-around competitor. The 12 teams have been seeded into two six-team sessions for Thursday's competition, with Michigan among the group that will compete at 1 p.m. CST, while the second group will perform at 7 p.m. CST.

Three teams and the top three all-around competitors not on one of the qualifying teams, plus the top three individuals on each event not already qualified on a team or as an all-around competitor, will advance from each qualifying session to the finals session on Friday (April 5) at 7 p.m. CST. The individual event finals will be held Saturday (April 6) at 7 p.m. CST.
Advanced all-session tickets are $25 for adults and $12 for youth (age 12 and under). Single-session tickets will be $8 for adults, $4 for youth. All seating at the championship will be general admission. Tickets may be purchased by contacting the OU ticket office at (800) 456-GoOU or (405) 325-2424.
The Wolverines seniors are looking for their second NCAA championship and fourth straight top-four national finish. Michigan won the 1999 NCAA title, was the 2000 runner-up, and placed fourth in 2001.
