N O T E S
The loss to Arizona marks the first dual meet defeat for Michigan since falling to California (130-113) on Jan. 6, 2001.
Michigan has proven why it is considered to have one of the best distance programs in the nation. By claiming the top two spots in the 500- and 1,650-yard freestyle against Arizona, the Wolverines have now placed a swimmer in the top three spots 23 times out of a possible 30 in freestyle events measuring 500 yards or longer this season.
Arizona took a 2-1 lead in the all-time series with Friday's win.
No NCAA automatic qualifying or consideration times were posted in Friday's dual meet.
