Jazwinski Places 15th in NCAA Indoor 3,000 Meters

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team was represented by senior Katie Jazwinski (Grand Rapids, Mich./West Catholic HS) on the final day of the NCAA Indoor Championships Saturday (March 10) at the University of Arkansas. Jazwinski ran her way to 15th place in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:42.34.
Jazwinski earned Michigan two points a day earlier with her All-America performance and seventh-place finish in the 5,000-meter run. Her two-day effort led the Wolverines to finish the NCAA Indoor Championships in a tie for 50th place with two points.
Michigan's indoor season is now complete, and its outdoor season will start at the Florida State Relays on Thursday (March 22) in Tallahassee, Fla.
