Tipirneni Selected for ITA Championship Qualifier

"The ITA All-American Championship is one of the premiere events of the year," said head coach Bitsy Ritt. "This is a chance for Kavitha to compete against some of the best competition in the country. Kavitha has worked hard and is very deserving of this opportunity."
The remainder of the women's tennis team will begin competition this weekend at the fourth annual Wolverine Fall Invitational held at the Varsity Tennis Center. The individual tournament that includes four other Midwest teams --- Bowling Green, DePaul, Marquette, Michigan State --- runs Friday through Sunday (Oct. 5-7) at U-M's facility. Matches begin at 10 a.m. on Friday and start at 9 a.m. the final two days.
