WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- The 14th-ranked University of Michigan women's cross country team won a team title for the third week in a row, this week taking the William & Mary Tribe Interregional on Saturday (Sept. 23). With 45 points Michigan edged out runner-up North Carolina (91) to win the team title.

Senior Katie Jazwinski (Grand Rapids, Mich./West Catholic HS) led the way with a second-place finish in a time of 17:43.1. Junior Katy Radkewich (Hudson, Ohio/Beaumont HS) also was among the top five, coming in fourth (18:04.3).

The Wolverines had four other runners in the top 20 to help pace the Maize and Blue. Senior Julie Froud (St. Mary's, Ontario/St. Mary's D.C.V.I.) and freshman Lindsey Gallo (Freehold, N.J./Howell HS) finished 11th and 12th, respectively, with junior Katie Ryan (Rochester Hills, Mich./Rochester Adams HS) and sophomore Jeanne Spink (Chelsea, Mich./Chelsea HS) following in 16th and 20th, respectively.

Michigan will look to add a fourth consecutive team title when the Wolverines travel to the Notre Dame Invitational on Friday (Oct. 6) at 4:15 p.m. CDT in South Bend, Ind.
