The Michigan women's tennis team completes its regular-season road schedule with a weekend trip to Wisconsin and Iowa. The Wolverines take on the Badgers Saturday (April 15, 11 a.m. CDT) and follow that with a match against the Hawkeyes Sunday (April 16, 10 a.m. CDT).
Michigan vs. Wisconsin
The Wolverines and Badgers will face each other for the 28th time this Saturday (April 8) at the Nielsen Tennis Center. The Badgers hold a 17-10 all-time advantage but the series is even (5-5) in the last 10 matches played. Michigan has a 5-15 record against the Badgers under head coach Bitsy Ritt, who is a 1983 graduate of Wisconsin. Last year, Wisconsin defeated Michigan 5-2 at the Varsity Tennis Center.
Wolverines vs. Hawkeyes
Michigan and Iowa will hit the hardcourt for the 25th time on Sunday (April 16), with the Wolverines holding a 19-5 advantage in the all-times series. The Wolverines have won six of the last seven matches between the two schools, including last year's 5-2 victory at the Varsity Tennis Center. Michigan has a 14-6 record against Iowa under the direction of head coach Bitsy Ritt and is 3-2 in matches contested at the Big Ten Championship.
