Four Wolverines Compete at Eastern Michigan Invite

YPSILANTI, Mich. -- Four members of the University of Michigan men's swimming and diving team competed in the Eastern Michigan University Invitational on Friday and Saturday (Dec. 1-2). Michigan placed seventh, scoring 122 team points in the two events in which it competed.
Freshman Jason Coben (Newtown Square, Pa./Maple Newtown HS) led the way for U-M, placing first in the one-meter diving with an NCAA zone qualifying mark of 296.65. Senior Mike O'Connor (Harper Woods, Mich./Grosse Pointe North HS) placed fourth in the 500-yard freestyle (4:36.73).
