Wolverine Women Receive At-Large Bid to NCAA Meet

This year marks the women's 10th appearance ever and 10th consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championship. The Wolverines finished 11th in 1998, with Katie McGregor winning the individual championship.
Three other Big Ten Conference women's teams are invited to the championship. Minnesota received an at-large bid, while Michigan State and Wisconsin received automatic bids. From the Great Lakes Region, Notre Dame received an at-large bid. Michigan has defeated all teams competing from the Big Ten Conference and the Great Lakes Region this year except Wisconsin.
The men's and women's races are scheduled for Monday, Nov. 22, at Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. The 10,000-meter men's race, including the Michigan men's cross country team, is set to start at 11 a.m. EST and the women's 5,000-meter event will follow at 12:15 p.m.
