Penny Neer

Penny Neer earned eight letters in three different varsity sports at U-M, competing in basketball, track and field, and softball. Neer was a three-time Big Ten discus champion from 1980-82. During her junior year, she became U-M's first woman All-American in track and field, and as a senior, Neer won the national title in discus, making her the first U-M female track athlete to win a national title.
