Frank Nunley

Frank Nunley

Induction:
1989

As a two-time All-Big Ten selection and a member of the 1965 Rose Bowl championship team, Frank Nunley was just beginning his career as a great football player when he left Ann Arbor. In 1967, Nunley was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round. During his 10 years with the 49ers, he was named to the All-Rookie Team, 49er most valuable defensive player three times and seven-time NFL defensive player of the week and was an All-Pro selection.
