Edsel Buchanan

Edsel Buchanan

Induction:
2002

Edsel Buchanan competed as a gymnast for the University of Michigan for four years and was a five-year member of the varsity cheerleading team. Buchanan was a Big Ten trampoline champion (1949) and a three-time NCAA national champion (1949-51), becoming the only athlete to win three consecutive national trampoline championships. Buchanan was inducted into the U.S. Trampoline Association Hall of Fame in 1979.
